Versatile Editors for Agency
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I run a growing content agency and I’m expanding my pool of freelance editors. Projects range from quick proofreading passes on blog posts to deep, substantive rewrites of white papers, so I need people who can adjust their approach to match the brief.
Content types and industries vary week-to-week—one day we might polish a healthcare case study, the next we could be tightening technology thought-leadership or refining finance reports. Because of that variety, please let me know which niches you’re most comfortable with and the style guides you already work in (Chicago, APA, AP, in-house, etc.).
What matters most to me is:
• A sharp editorial eye that catches both mechanical errors and tonal inconsistencies
• Clear, diplomatic comments in Track Changes (or an equivalent collaboration tool)
• Reliable turnaround times you can commit to up front
For each assignment I will send a brief outlining the audience, purpose, word count, and level of edit required. Your deliverable will be:
1. The marked-up document showing all edits and queries
2. A clean version ready for client delivery
3. A short style sheet noting any key decisions
If this sounds like a good fit, please respond with:
– Your primary subject areas
– The editing levels you’re most comfortable handling
– Two or three recent samples that show your range
– Your typical daily or weekly capacity
Looking forward to adding strong editors to the roster and collaborating on a steady stream of projects.
