SQL Server & MySQL DBA for Monthly Troubleshooting Video Series

Job ID: 40097963

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I publish public-facing technical tutorials and am looking to add a regular, scenario-based troubleshooting video series for SQL Server and MySQL.

This is a long-term project requiring 3–4 videos per month. Each video should begin with a real-world database corruption or failure scenario, walk through your DBA troubleshooting thought process (using SSMS, command line, logs, diagnostics), and conclude with a working recovery solution using Stellar Repair for MS SQL or Stellar Repair for MySQL.

I will provide corrupt sample database files for each scenario. These files must be used to demonstrate realistic troubleshooting, recovery workflows, and validation of recovered data.

Scope of Work

Analyze provided corrupt SQL Server or MySQL database files

Explain symptoms, errors, and operational impact

Demonstrate DBA-style diagnostics and decision-making

Explain limitations or risks of native/manual repair methods

Perform database recovery using Stellar Repair tools

Validate recovered data and share preventive best practices

Video Production Requirements

Screen recording in HD (1080p or higher) with clear voice-over

Use your own lab environment with the provided corrupt files

Plan the troubleshooting steps, record the session, and trim unnecessary parts

Final output should be clear, practical, and educational, not sales-focused

Video length: 5–15 minutes per video

Deliverables (Per Video)

Edited MP4 video (1080p or higher)

Scripts, queries, or configuration files used during the demo

A brief step-by-step outline for the video description

Acceptance Criteria

Commands and recovery steps must work on supported versions of SQL Server or MySQL

Audio must be clean with no background noise or echo

Screen recording should clearly highlight relevant panes, logs, and code

Ideal Candidate

A hands-on SQL Server / MySQL DBA who enjoys teaching, troubleshooting, and explaining real-world problems, and can commit to a steady monthly cadence of 3–4 videos.

Please include a sample technical video, tutorial link, or portfolio (if available), along with your monthly pricing.
