We have an existing Python-based implementation that handles video streaming operations using technologies like FFmpeg, HLS, and MPEG-DASH. The code also involves managing buffers, caching layers, and stream processing.

We are looking for an experienced Kotlin developer who can port the Python logic into Kotlin, preserving the performance and efficiency of the original implementation. A strong understanding of video streaming protocols (HLS/DASH), media processing with FFmpeg, and low-level concepts like buffers and cache management is essential.

Requirements:
Proficiency in Kotlin and Python

Experience working with FFmpeg (via command-line or bindings)

Familiarity with HLS and DASH streaming standards

Strong grasp of data buffering and caching strategies

Ability to maintain code structure and performance optimization from Python version

Deliverables:
Kotlin port of the existing Python project (source will be provided)

Properly documented code

A brief technical note on design decisions or adjustments made during porting
