Project Overview
We are looking for an experienced video editor to edit podcast episode videos into professional, engaging, and polished final content suitable for YouTube and social media platforms.
The podcast format consists of one or more speakers discussing various topics. The editor should be able to improve the viewing experience through clean editing, pacing, audio enhancement, graphics, and visual engagement techniques.
Scope of Work
The selected freelancer will be responsible for:
Editing raw podcast footage into a professional final video
Removing mistakes, pauses, filler words, and unnecessary sections
Synchronizing audio and video
Enhancing audio quality (noise reduction, volume balancing, clarity improvement)
Adding intro and outro sequences
Adding lower-thirds, speaker names, and relevant text overlays
Incorporating B-roll footage, images, or visual references where appropriate
Adding transitions, zoom-ins, punch-ins, and dynamic cuts to maintain audience engagement
Color correction and color grading
Adding royalty-free background music where suitable
Creating branded visual elements consistent with the podcast identity
Exporting final video in high-quality format suitable for YouTube
