Long form Video Editor – Business/ Finance Educational Documentary channel
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
We are launching a faceless YouTube channel focused on corporate stories, including the rise and fall of major companies, financial scandals, and business failures.
Examples of companies that may be covered include:
• Enron
• Lehman Brothers
• Theranos
• WeWork
It is an educational channel that uses documentary-style investigation as the delivery mechanism. It is neither fully documentary, nor fully educational. It is a blend of both
⸻
Video Length: 15-18 minutes
⸻
Editing Style
The editing style should be clean and professional, not overly flashy.
We are looking for:
• documentary-style editing
• use of stock footage and news clips
• simple diagrams/ charts/ whiteboard animations when needed to explain concepts (every video will have 2-3 on an average)
• clear pacing and storytelling
Things to avoid:
• meme-style editing
• excessive zooms / sound effects
• overly flashy transitions
⸻
What We Will Provide
To simplify the editing process, we will provide:
• complete script
• AI voiceover
• clear story structure
This reduces the workload for the editor since you do not need to create the narrative from scratch.
⸻
Editor Responsibilities
• sourcing appropriate stock footage/ news articles
• assembling visuals to match the script
• adding simple motion graphics or diagrams or whiteboard animations when required
• clean pacing and storytelling
• follow the brand colours, fonts, etc.
• repurpose the long form content into shorts (we will provide the part to be used as shorts)
⸻
Deliverables
• fully edited video ready for YouTube
• project files
• clean audio mix
• simple motion graphics
• licensed stock footage used along with license
⸻
Volume
We are targeting to produce 2 videos per week. Initially, we can start with 1 video per week as well, move to 2 per week once processes are established and expectations are met.
We are looking for a long-term collaboration, not a one-off assignment.
⸻
When Applying, Please Include
1. Portfolio or links to videos you edited
2. Price for the video - fixed price/ per minute price (whatever suits you)
3. Turnaround time per video
4. Editing software used
