Illustration and video for narrated story -- 2
Budget: $250 – $750 NZD
Hi,
Attached are vocals of a 10 – 15 minute story being narrated, I’d like someone to create good quality illustrations/images/animation and turn this into a video. The vocals will have music added and I will have the updated file in a week or so for you. I’d like the video to include attractive llustration/images/animation that appeal to adults as well as kids. Illustration that would suit a Youtube video as well as a book would be great.
Also attached is a word document (with reference images included) that has the wording included. In the video, I would like the text to be displayed at the bottom of the video in attractive font along as the sentences are being spoken. There is also some text in blue that somehow would be great to highlight in the video.
For anyone interested, I’d be keen to see sample of your previous work to judge how the illustration and characters may look. I’m looking for detailed, colourful and creative work that impresses. For shortlisted candidates, would be great if you could provide a sample drawing to help me know what to expect.
If a freelancer is looking to provide illustration for the video, the attached word document has some text in bold which indicates parts I’d like an illustration for. In total there should be 5 (would be great if you could read/hear the story to get a better idea) :
1. First illustration could show a saintly person doing saintly things on the left of the image and the same person on the right shown in an angry mood through his wife and kids out of the house.
2. Second illustration could be similar to the one I’ve included in the word doc (second image) with a person’s body leaving his soul and good and bad spirits (looking and dressed similar to how they are depicted) surrounding him.
3. Third illustration shows the God of death talking to his servants (as in the previous image).
4. Fourth illustration shows a saintly person travelling on a golden chariot to a heavenly looking place.
Please note, the above is my suggestion but I’m not very rigid on trying to do it my way. I’m really just looking for good quality work so if you have other better ideas that are appropriate and relevant to the story, please do let me know. Definitely keen to get feedback.
Keen to hear from artists that are can provide the illustration and do video editing as well.
Needless to say, the video, images, characters, etc. will need to be copyright and royalty free and I’d own the rights to it all.
For any freelancer I shortlist and therefore get in touch with, I will look to get back to them and confirm if they have been successful or not in their bid.
