Custom Brush Photo Reveal Video
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m launching a new YouTube channel that pairs my own piano compositions with my photography, and I’d like the very first 5-minute video to feel like a gentle work of art in motion. As the music plays, I want a single still image to emerge gradually through a custom artist-style brush reveal—think seamless digital paint strokes that blossom across the screen rather than a standard fade or slide.
Here’s the visual brief:
• Reveal method: a bespoke “artist brush” animation, rendered with smooth digital paint strokes.
• Background: a clean solid colour so the focus stays on the photo itself and the brush movement.
• Overall pacing: the full reveal should complete within roughly the first 30–45 seconds, then hold the finished image while the music continues to the 5-minute mark. Subtle breathing or ambient motion (e.g., a light vignette pulse) after the reveal would be welcome but isn’t mandatory.
I’ll supply the high-resolution photo and the piano track. I’m comfortable if you build the effect in After Effects, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or another tool you’re fluent in—as long as the final deliverable is a 4K video file plus the editable project so I can reuse the template for future uploads.
Deliverables (acceptance criteria)
1. 4K MP4 (or MOV) of the complete 5-minute video.
2. Editable project file with all assets neatly organised.
3. One short instructions note showing how to swap in a new photo and soundtrack.
