I'm in search of a talented video editor to collaborate with me on my YouTube channel, Mr. Aksoy (@aksoyfahri). Our channel focuses on educational content, producing 5-10-minute videos. We aim to deliver engaging and informative videos that captivate our audience and enhance their learning experience.
Ideal Skills:
Video Editing: Must be proficient in editing and post-production software to create high-quality videos, including cutting and trimming, adding transitions, titles, and effects.
Graphic Design: Ability to create engaging and informative graphics to enhance our tutorial videos.
Creative Mindset: Bring fresh ideas to our editing process to maintain and improve viewer engagement.
Music and Effects: Incorporate music, sound effects, graphics, and animations creatively.
Consistency and Branding: Ensure videos are consistent with our brand style and tone, similar to Ali Abdaal’s style, but open to new ideas.
Color Grading: Perform color grading to enhance the visual appeal of the videos.
Sound Quality: Fix and enhance sound quality to ensure clear and professional audio.
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience editing videos for YouTube.
Portfolio: Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of previous work.
Platform Knowledge: Understanding of the YouTube platform and best practices for video content.
Long-Term Collaboration: Interest in a long-term collaboration with the potential for ongoing projects.
This Role Will Involve:
Editing videos with an educational focus whilst incorporating visually appealing graphics.
Enhancing the overall quality of our content to attract and retain subscribers.
Working closely with me to implement a consistent editing style across all videos.
