Create Engaging YouTube Shorts for Luxury Resort

10 YouTube Shorts – Northern Lights (NLRS)
Overview:
We’re Northern Lights Resort & Spa, a luxury retreat just outside Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada. We are looking for 10 engaging YouTube Shorts (30–60 seconds each) showcasing the magic of the Northern Lights in an elegant, calming, and visually immersive way.
What we provide:
- Full access to our photo gallery (high-resolution images of our resort and the Aurora)
- Branding guidance and website for reference: https://northernlightsyukon.com
What we’re looking for:
- 10 vertical videos (Shorts/Reels format – 9:16 ratio, max 60 seconds each)
Each video should feature either:
- Real-time Northern Lights footage
- Aurora time-lapses
- Mixed motion (slideshow with subtle transitions) using provided images
- Include calming background music (instrumental or ambient only – no loud beats)
- No text overlays unless you propose something clean and elegant (we may add our own)
- Avoid stock footage unless it’s high-quality and looks like Yukon
- Videos must feel premium, natural, and peaceful — fitting a luxury resort environment
- Deliver in 1080x1920 resolution (or 4K vertical if possible)
Creative Direction – Variety Request:
Please vary the style and content among the 10 Shorts. Here’s a suggested mix:
3x time-lapse style (Aurora movement over the sky or trees)
3x real-time or slow Aurora footage
2x mixed with resort elements (if possible, silhouettes or chalet lights)
2x artistic / photo-based reels (if no video available, use slow zoom/pan of stills)
Tone:
Calming, luxurious, elegant
Should reflect the beauty of the Yukon and the uniqueness of a Northern Lights experience from our location

2-4 weeks

- A folder of all project assets used (for our archive and reference)
