Cinematic Vlog Video Editor Needed
Budget: £10 – £40 GBP
Hi, I'm starting my own Vlog of my car projects on youtube.
I'm a one man band with little to no experience on editing but I've published my first actual Y2b video.. I've got a huge amount of followers, 31 to be exact but I really want to make something mine, something that shows what I struggle with and the reality of making any type of project. Call it a "honest John review".
I'm a automotive engineer working for a big OEM and I'm just fed up of Excel.. I love anything tech related, and I'm really trying to make some cool restmods. I have plenty of material showing me playing around with 3D scanning, Photogrammetry, 3D Printing, CAD, CFD, Carbon, you name it.
The channel, TheRustDigger, is a well suited name to who I am.. someone who somehow only finds himself surrounded with rust buckets and/or can of warms..
I'm seeking a talented YouTube video editor to embark on a, hopefully, lengthy cooperation and help me refine my vlogs and give them that cinematic edge that I just can't achieve.
Key editing tasks include:
- Review of footage, cutting and trimming for optimal pacing and flow
- Color correction to enhance visual appeal and maintain consistency
- Adding transitions seamlessly to ensure a smooth viewing experience
Ideal candidates should have:
- Proven experience on making some cool car videos.
- Passion for crappy cars and crazy projects
- Able to share the vision and take part in it
There are a few Youtube channels that I really like how they present the work and don't faf around too much, that's kinda what I'm after. Something that builds the story around of why am I doing this, but is direct and focused on the actual building content rather than the faffing around with special effects or of purpose dialog.
No idea on payment types, but of course, not expecting a charity but I know how much I make an hour as an expert on my field.. so I'm assuming we can extrapolate around and adjust based on what you can/are bringing to the table.
Also if anyone local to me in Warwickshire, who might be keen to help and actually do some footage and stuff like that, I'm more than happy to expand into that idea.
Thank you in advance.
J
