Car Paint Damage Simulation in Video or in Selected Images from the Video
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
A paint damage on the hood of my car, approximately 3 cm by 10 cm in size, visible in later photos, is to be simulated in an older cell phone video (HEVC / .mp4 format) of the same vehicle or in selected individual images from the video. According to QuickTime Player, the video consists of 867 individual images. It is important that the paint damage is transferred with true position and size, i.e., accurately at the affected area. The affected area of the hood of my car is visible in three parts (ca. pictures 196-230, 406-415 and 441-451 of overall 867 pictures in video) of the video. Furthermore, only the silhouette or outline of the paint damage should be transferred, i.e., the video or the selected individual images from it should still show what was there previously at the affected area. My understanding is that transferring it with true position and size should be possible with Reality Capture or other photogrammetric software. I would be able to provide: the older video of the vehicle as well as various later comparison photos of the vehicle or the hood with the paint damage (.HEIC format, taken with an iPhone). If necessary, I can also take and provide additional photos or videos of the vehicle and the hood with the paint damage using my iPhone.
