YouTube Video Editor Needed to Turn Short Clips into Long-Form Interviews (+ Thumbnail & Title Creation)
I’m looking for a talented video editor to help me transform a collection of short-form clips into polished, long-form YouTube videos.
What the job involves:
You’ll receive multiple vertical (9:16) short clips from a single interview.
Each clip will come with a pre-written title.
Your job is to:
Compile the clips into one long-form YouTube video (16:9 format)
Keep each short in its original aspect ratio (9:16), centred on the screen with a clean, professional background
Add smooth, professional transitions between clips
Overlay the supplied title for each clip at the start of each segment
Create a high-click-through-rate thumbnail
Write a YouTube-optimized video title
I will also send you a sample video I’ve already created, so you’ll have a reference of the format I want — but I’m looking for you to elevate it in terms of editing polish, transitions, and overall presentation.
Ideal freelancer:
Skilled in YouTube video editing and understands YouTube’s long-form video flow
Proficient with editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve)
Experience with YouTube thumbnails and titles that get clicks
Reliable with good communication and able to work with supplied assets
Budget & Delivery:
Open to fixed or hourly offers — please include your rate and a link to past relevant work
This will be ongoing work if the first project goes well
First project ready to begin immediately

If you’re creative, detail-oriented, and know how to make content look great while keeping the workflow efficient — I want to hear from you.
