I want to build a small library of intermediate-level German videos that let viewers practise their Schreiben skills in real time. In each episode you’ll share your screen, type on a site such as https://www.practisegerman.net/ (or any clean, visible word-processing tool), and talk the audience through every decision you make—grammar, word order, register, punctuation, even why a particular synonym feels more natural.
Scope of topics
• Email – formal and informal messages
• Essay – well-structured opinion or argument pieces
• Short story – concise narrative with a clear arc
Key points
• Main goal is practice: viewers should be able to pause, copy, and model your writing.
• Target level is solid B1–B2, so explanations stay in accessible German, with brief English clarifications only when a concept is tricky.
• Natural, friendly speaking pace; no scripted classroom tone.
Deliverables
1. Three HD videos (one per format) in 5-10-minute range, ready for upload to YouTube (MP4, 1080p).
2. A simple subtitle/closed-caption file for each video to aid comprehension.
3. The finished text you produced in each recording (Word or PDF).
