We are looking for a Freelance Creative Videographer for a short-term project at my organization! In this role you will be responsible for planning, creating, and producing professional quality videos in line with our Education, Health, Economic Empowerment, Food Systems, and the Environment themes! We need you to create a series of five (5) 45-to-90-second videos within the next 8 weeks.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experiences:
*Understanding of principles, professional standards, and operating practices employed in the direction, editing and execution of video/multimedia production.
*Experience scripting video and multimedia productions.
*Knowledge of operational principles and experience in video productions as well as hardware/software used in digital image manipulation and processing.
*Demonstrated ability to keep up on current style trends in videography and multimedia.
*Sophisticated aesthetic, eye for composition, and technical skills.
*Ability to translate key aspects of complex scientific concepts into visual images that accurately, and effectively achieve clients’ communication goals.
*Experience time estimating and practices associated with planning and completing photo, video and multimedia productions.
*Ability to translate organizational identity and core messaging into products that tell the story of IIRR in compelling ways.
*Oral and written communications. Master of storytelling.
*Innovative problem solving.
*Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy.
*Passion and ability to model the following core themes: Health, Education, Economic Empowerment, Food Systems and the Environment
