US Video Dataset for Research
Budget: $200 – $750 USD
We are seeking participants for a research project aimed at collecting video and audio recordings from diverse, real-world environments. The goal is to support the development of spatially aware vision models that capture natural human behavior, environmental context, and diversity.
Project Overview:
Participants will take part in structured recording sessions designed to help develop systems capable of recognizing human voice, facial expressions, and natural movements. Each session will involve performing guided tasks while being recorded using both camera and microphone.
Tasks Include:
- Speaking short phrases
- Reading prompts aloud
- Performing simple facial or head movements (smiling, turning head, looking in specific directions)
- Explaining a short unscripted topic (for minors)
- Simple acting tasks (for minors, e.g., packing a backpack, organizing items)
Session Details:
- Duration: Approximately 2–3 hours per participant
- Location: Onsite at designated recording sites or offsite at participants’ homes (within ~30–40 minutes of our offices)
- Data handling: All recordings are securely stored and used exclusively for research and technology development
- Legal: Participants must sign an NDA and Informed Consent Form (ICF) before the session
Participant Profiles:
1. Twins & Siblings (18+ years old)- Identical twins
- Look-alike fraternal twins
- Look-alike siblings (up to 3 years age gap, same parents)
- Both twins or siblings must participate to receive payment
- Sessions conducted separately (~2.5 hours each)
2. Minors (5–17 years old)
- Solo sessions only
- Must be accompanied by an adult/guardian
- Tasks similar to adult sessions but adjusted for age
Locations & Payment:
1. Twins & Siblings
-New York & New Jersey:
- Onsite: $240 per participant
- At participant home: $240 per participant
Las Vegas, Atlanta, Cleveland:
- Onsite: $200 per participant
- At participant home: $200 per participant
- Payment Note: Both twins or siblings must participate to be paid.
2. Minors (5–17 years old)
- Onsite only: $250 per participant
How to Apply:
