PRODUCER FOR YOUTUBE DOCUMENTARIES
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m looking for someone to work in the capacity of a producer on my documentary/storytelling YouTube channel.
* Preferably someone who has had experience in both film/television and YouTube as well.
* Someone knowledgeable in storytelling techniques, particularly visual and sound
* Someone with an understanding of the Youtube algorithm and SEO
Responsibilities
* aiding in the creative direction of the channel
* identifying the narrative outline, thematic element and aesthetic choices for videos
* picking out visual assets to go with the script eg movie scenes, animation, stock footage, archive footage, images etc
* proofreading script
* proof-listening voiceover
* Doing a final review of video and ensuring everything is of a high quality
Goals
* I want each video to stand out from the other, each video needs to feel unique and fresh, that means different aesthetics, editing, music, visual assets etc
* Netflix quality, every aspect of the content needs to be flawless and high quality. On par with channels like Lemmino
* Quantity and Quality. I’m looking to outcompete similar channels that have high-quality content but poor work rates eg Lemmino, Popo Medic etc. I’m looking to do a minimum of 1 video a week.
Expectations
* Responsiveness. I need someone that can communicate daily and responds to messages on time.
* Creativity. The ability to think outside the box and constantly innovate and evolve the content
* Passion. I’m looking for someone that genuinely enjoys the creative process
