North London Interview Recording
Budget: £18 – £36 GBP
I’m organising a private, two-hour evening event in North London centred on a filmed conversation between an interviewer and interviewee, followed by a live audience Q&A of 30 mins. I need a professional who can handle the full production cycle—set-up, capture and post-production—while working efficiently with the gear I already have on hand:
• 1 x Osmo Pocket 3 vlogging camera
• Lapel microphones
• Zoom H1 handy recorder
• Laptop for on-site backups
On the day you will:
• Arrive with any extra lighting, tripods or secondary cameras you feel are essential.
• Set up a clean audio chain (my lapel mics can be used, but feel free to run a parallel feed).
• Record the entire session—continuous takes, minimal resets—to ensure no part of the dialogue or audience questions is lost.
After the shoot I need a single, full-length edit (picture locked and audio-synced) delivered in a common high-definition format, plus a separate mastered WAV or AIFF of the final audio.
In your proposal please include:
1. Your fixed or hourly fee for on-site setup and recording.
2. Your hourly rate for editing and a rough estimate of how many hours you anticipate for a straightforward, full-length cut.
3. Turnaround time for the first draft and one revision.
4. Any additional equipment you intend to bring.
The venue confirms standard power points and space for a small lighting kit. I’m looking to lock in someone reliable and communicative as soon as possible, so do share links to similar interview or panel recordings you’ve shot and edited.
