Mobile Interview Videographer Needed

Job ID: 40260694

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

This April I’m recording a walking-style podcast episode in London with most likely a five-piece band. We’ll cover two locations on the same afternoon: first, a relaxed stroll through a nearby green space that matters to them, then a short hop to the pub where they’ll be playing on their next tour. I need someone who can keep the camera moving smoothly, capture clean dialogue on-the-go, and handle the inevitable change from daylight to pub lighting without missing a beat.

You’ll focus solely on filming and recording sound; all editing is handled elsewhere. Ideal kit would include a gimbal or other stabilisation for handheld walking shots plus at least two wireless lav mics (or a comparable setup) so the conversation stays crisp even outdoors. A small on-camera shotgun for ambience would be a bonus, but the key is reliable audio and steady visuals.

The shoot window is two to three hours total, including a short reset between locations. Raw footage and synced audio are all that’s required—simply transfer to a drive or upload after we wrap.

Because this concept relies on natural flow, I’m prioritising people who already have experience filming interviews and working outdoors; if you’ve chased talent through parks or busy streets while keeping the dialogue intelligible, that’s exactly what I need. In your response just highlight that experience and any sample links—nothing more is necessary.

Let me know your availability for early to mid-April and what gear you can bring so we can lock in a date.
