Heartfelt Farewell Video Edit
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have all the raw footage and a rough script for a semi-cinematic farewell video that moves back and forth between “dream” and “real life.” I need the entire piece shaped into a single, polished narrative that feels emotional and heartfelt from start to finish.
Here is the creative direction I’m after:
• Transitions: Each shift between the dream world and reality should feel smooth and gradual—no jarring flashes or hard cuts. Think dissolves, slow crossfades, or subtle speed-ramping that lets the viewer slowly realise they’re moving between realms.
• Dream sequences: Rather than literal events, the dream sections rely on symbolic imagery that visually represents milestones and feelings. You will weave these symbols into the timeline so they echo or foreshadow real-life scenes that follow.
• Tone: The entire piece must maintain a warm, sincere mood. Music, pacing, colour grade, and sound design should all support an emotional, farewell-style atmosphere.
I’ll deliver organised folders with A-roll, B-roll, audio, and a document noting which clips belong to dream or reality. You’ll return:
1. A fully edited video (4–5 minutes) in 1080p H.264.
2. A project file (Premiere Pro, Resolve, or Final Cut—whatever you use).
3. A short, high-quality export suitable for social sharing (under 100 MB).
Please keep the storytelling cohesive, ensure audio levels are balanced, and colour-grade both realms so the dream feels slightly ethereal while real-life remains natural. If you have questions about symbolism or pacing, I’ll be available for quick feedback during the process.
