Project: Egocentric (POV) Video Data Collection – Worldwide Contributors Needed

We are hiring multiple freelancers worldwide for a large-scale Egocentric (First-Person POV) Video Data Collection Project.
Your task is to record short videos of everyday household activities using a smartphone attached to a head-mounted phone holder.

This project is suitable for anyone with a smartphone, good lighting, and the ability to follow simple recording instructions.

What You Need to Do

Record POV videos (1–10 minutes each) of real, natural daily activities

Example task categories include:

Cleaning, sweeping, wiping

Kitchen activities

Laundry and organizing

Pet care

Basic household routines

Videos must clearly show your hands and the objects you interact with

Must follow our technical & recording guidelines provided after onboarding

Requirements

Must be 18+

Must own a compatible smartphone:

iPhone 11 or newer, OR

Android equivalent (Samsung Galaxy S10, OnePlus 7T, Google Pixel 4 or newer)

Ability to purchase a smartphone head-mount

Cost reimbursed after your first 5 minutes of approved video

Good lighting and steady recording environment

Ability to follow written instructions carefully

Stable internet for uploading video files

Must not show other people, sensitive information, or unsafe activities

Payment

$5 per approved hour of video submitted

Payment is based on total approved duration (after quality checks)

Ongoing project with no submission limit — earn as much as you can record
