Convert 300 AEP Templates to CE
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I have a library of roughly 300 After Effects templates (.aep) that must be brought into the img.ly ecosystem by recreating each one in CreativeEngine (.CE) format through the img.ly editor. Every template contains detailed animations and effects that need to look and behave exactly as they do in their original form, so a precise, frame-accurate translation is essential.
Scope
• Open each .aep file, study its layers, key-frames, expressions, and effects.
• Rebuild the composition inside the img.ly editor, leveraging CreativeEngine’s animation timeline, easing curves, masks, blend modes, and any custom properties needed to achieve parity.
• Optimise assets (images, fonts, footage) so they are referenced correctly in the resulting .CE file structure.
• Maintain naming conventions, layer order, in/out points, and adjustment layers so future editing inside img.ly remains straightforward.
Deliverables
1. 300 fully functional .CE template files, each paired with its asset folder.
2. Preview renders (MP4 or GIF) demonstrating that the timing and visual style match the source.
3. A simple manifest (spreadsheet or JSON) mapping original filenames to their converted counterparts, noting any edge-case work-arounds applied.
4. a sheet containing the number of media to upload in each template
Acceptance Criteria
• Side-by-side comparison shows indistinguishable motion and styling from 0 s to end frame.
• No missing fonts, linked footage, or expression errors in CreativeEngine.
• All files load in the latest img.ly editor without warnings.
I will provide the complete .aep package, required fonts, and a shared workspace in img.ly. If you already script with the img.ly SDK or have automated export routines, feel free to incorporate them—as long as the final output meets the visual fidelity requirements above.
