40th Birthday Highlight Reel
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m turning 40 on 14 March and want a single, fun-and-energetic 60-second Reel to drop that day. I’ll hand you a folder packed with photos and clips: adventures abroad, moments with my kids and family, coaching sidelines, early-morning runs, gym sessions, scuba dives, hang-outs with friends and snapshots from my business, Compound.
Your job is to stitch this story together with tight pacing, lively transitions and subtle colour work, all synced to a trending rap/hip-hop track that passes Instagram’s copyright checks. Think upbeat, celebratory and visually punchy—something that screams “still growing, still loving life” from the first two seconds. I already have a caption in mind; once the edit’s shaping up I’ll share it so you can match timing if needed. Minimal on-screen text or date stamps are welcome where they add context, but keep the vibe clean and focused on the visuals.
Deliverables
• Vertical 1080×1920 MP4 (H.264), max 60 s, ready for Instagram/Facebook Reels
• One round of revisions for pacing, clip order, levels or light text tweaks
• The editable project file (Premiere Pro, Final Cut or DaVinci—whatever you use) so I can repurpose later
Acceptance criteria: the opening grabs attention immediately, every life facet mentioned above gets its moment, cuts stay on beat, and the final export looks crisp on mobile.
