Expanding Photography & Media Studio – Seeking Freelance Photographers & Videographers
I’m expanding my small photography and media studio and want to build a reliable pool of Australia-based freelancers I can call on for upcoming weddings, brand shoots, and creative content.
Most of my enquiries come from Brisbane and wider QLD, so being local is ideal—but I’m happy to hear from talent anywhere in the country who can travel when required.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• You own your own gear—camera bodies, lenses, audio, lighting, and anything else you need to work independently on set.
• Your portfolio shows solid experience in event photography/videography, particularly weddings or lifestyle-driven brand shoots.
• High-quality editing is non-negotiable—clean colour work, crisp audio, and polished delivery files ready for clients.
• You’re comfortable collaborating on a per-project basis, invoicing your own hours (typical jobs run 4–10 hours on shoot day, with agreed post-production time).
• Female photographers/videographers are encouraged to apply as some clients prefer working with women for comfort and cultural sensitivity reasons.
When a brief lands, I’ll forward shoot details, creative direction, and any reference material so you can quote accurately.
Final deliverables usually include:
– A culled and colour-graded photo gallery in JPEG/RAW
– Highlight reels or full-length videos in H.264 or ProRes
– Editable project files (Lightroom catalogues, Premiere/DaVinci/FCPX timelines) if requested
