Simple Video Editing & AI Image Creation - Full Time Editor

**Job Overview
This is a full-time, per-video role focused on high-volume short-form content creation. All videos are short-form and under 58 seconds. All work is done remotely, and payments are handled remotely through Remitly. This role is intended for someone looking for consistent, long-term online work and who is comfortable working independently. **Daily Workflow & Expectations
You will be working daily on repetitive but efficient workflows designed to help you get faster over time. The repetition is intentional. Once you learn the process, speed increases significantly, allowing you to produce content efficiently.
At the moment, I am running two short-form channels, and I require two videos per day total—one video per channel. As the project grows, I will be expanding to additional channels, which will increase the daily video output over time. This role is designed to scale alongside that growth and provide consistent work.
**Core Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Image generation using tools and credits I provide
Video editing using CapCut Pro (subscription covered if needed)
Video generation for certain content types
Posting and scheduling short-form videos across social platforms
All videos must be under 58 seconds and formatted for short-form platforms such as TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels.
All workflows are structured, and you will be given copy-paste scripts for image generation and video generation, meaning there is no creative thinking required beyond execution.
**Content Types & Pay Structure
Superhero Content — $1.00 CAD per video
Includes image generation, video editing, and scheduling/posting.
This work is straightforward and repetitive. Full scripts are provided.
On average, it takes about 45 minutes or less to complete one Superhero short-form video.
Roblox Content — $1.50 CAD per video
Includes image generation, video generation, video editing, and scheduling/posting.
This content includes one additional step, which is why it pays more.
On average, it takes 45 minutes to about 1 hour, often less once familiar with the process.
Payment is per video, not hourly. Faster and more efficient work allows for higher earnings through volume.
**Clip Scouting & Flexibility (Very Important)
At this time, YouTube clip scouting is NOT required for the current Superhero or Roblox workflows. However, this skill will be required in the future, and applicants must be capable of doing it when needed.
In the future, you will be expected to:
Go to YouTube and independently find raw clips and reference footage
Locate similar or near-identical clips to those used in a provided example video
If I send you an already-assembled video, you must be able to analyze it and find the same or very similar source clips on YouTube
Collect, organize, and prepare those clips for editing
This requires someone who is very YouTube-savvy and internet-savvy, understands how to search effectively, filter results, scrub through long videos, and identify usable footage quickly. You must be comfortable navigating YouTube beyond basic viewing.
This is a future requirement, not an immediate daily task, but it is a non-negotiable skill for long-term growth in this role.
Other tasks may also come up as the project expands. I am looking for someone flexible, reliable, and comfortable adapting as new workflows are introduced.
**Pop Culture & Internet Awareness
You must be knowledgeable about general pop culture and internet trends. This includes familiarity with:
Superheroes and major comic characters
Popular basketball and soccer players
Common online trends and references
You should be able to recognize people, characters, and trends without needing explanations and find relevant material on your own.
