Portrait Edit for 32″ TV
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I have an existing horizontal video that needs to play flawlessly when a 32-inch 16:9 television is mounted vertically. The task is to re-edit, rotate, and if necessary crop or pillar-box the footage so it fills the portrait screen cleanly and looks professional—no black bars or awkward framing.
The video acts as an informational display, so clarity and a polished, business-ready feel are essential. I may later add text overlays, a brand logo, or light background audio, so please leave room in the composition for those elements or be ready to integrate them during this pass.
Deliverables
• A full-resolution vertical master (1080 × 1920 MP4, H.264) that matches the 32-inch TV’s portrait orientation.
• A quick reference thumbnail or still for on-screen testing.
• Confirmation that the file loops smoothly and retains sharpness after rotation.
I’ll supply the original footage immediately; you return the finished file and any project files so future tweaks remain simple. If part of the frame will be lost in the crop, flag it up front so we can decide on a re-frame instead.
