Finances Video Editor for Youtube
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
We are an established financial YouTube channel in the German-speaking region of Europe with more than 100k active subscribers on our main channel and further branch-channels are currently in the build up. As a long term support we are looking for a creative Video-Editor.
When working long-term we will pay on a net-earning share for each published video that has been edited.
Details about the work/task:
- Faceless channel, only spoken content, which will be underlined by audio-visual material
- Highend videos about finances with a cinematic style (heavy integration of movie scenes as a story-telling element) and charts/graphics
- Videos are between 5-25 minutes each
- Due to the nature of the financial environment, the content is usually to be selected from current events, as such there is only a short delivery time available (1-2 days)
- Around 2 videos will be published per week (how many edits will be done by the applicant can be aligned on availability)
- The current style of the videos should be maintained, but there will be opportunities for the applicant to bring in his own creativity and ideas
Necessary skills:
- Capable of the German language (videos are in German)
- The applicant should have experience with the use of Motion-Graphic tools for a visually pleasing integration of charts/graphics
- The applicant should be able to use suitable visual material (movie scenes, high quality stock material etc) and fitting musical undertones to convey emotion
Videoedit pipeline:
- We provide the audio-file and (especially at the start of the partnership) a script as a guide for the videoedit
- We will share a library of general audio-visual material from which resources can be drawn for the edit
- The deliverable will be a ready-to-publish file for YouTube
Payment:
- Long-term engagement intended for which a net-earning share between 30-50% per published video on YouTube will be paid out, depending on the provided results
- Good to know: The payment rate by YouTube for videos in the area of finance is higher than in other areas such as entertainment
