Educational YouTube Video Editing
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I produce short educational pieces for YouTube and I’d like a skilled editor to turn my raw clips into a clean, engaging final cut inside Descript. The videos are purely informational, so the focus is on clarity: tight pacing, clean jump-cuts, readable captions, and the occasional graphic or stock overlay when it helps illustrate a point.
My style guidelines are intentionally light—consistent fonts, brand colours, and a snappy intro/outro—and I’m happy to see your creative ideas within that framework. You’ll receive:
• A folder with the talking-head footage and any reference images
• A brief timestamp sheet noting key moments to highlight or trim
Deliverables back to me:
• A Descript project file with all edits and captions intact
• An exported 1080p .mp4 ready for upload
• One short vertical teaser (15-30 s) cut from the main video for YouTube Shorts/Instagram Reels
Turnaround on each video is ideally 48–72 hours. If you’re comfortable working entirely in Descript and can keep the pacing lively without over-editing, let’s collaborate.
