Cinematic Interview Video Editing
Budget: £750 – £1,500 GBP
I'm looking for an experienced video editor to professionally refine and polish an already structured long-form interview.
Please note: This is not a full edit from raw footage.
The interview has already been filmed, reviewed and editorially structured. The initial editing work has already been completed, including reviewing the footage, selecting the clips, creating the interview structure, replacing selected camera angles, identifying supporting inserts, establishing timings and preparing a detailed edit plan/storyboard.
The successful editor will be responsible for refining and elevating the existing edit into a professionally finished production.
Scope of Work
Professionally refine and polish the existing edit.
Enhance audio quality and synchronisation.
Apply colour correction and overall visual consistency.
Integrate supplied B-roll, archive footage and still photographs.
Create elegant opening and closing titles.
Add lower-third titles where appropriate.
Add subtle, professional transitions where appropriate.
Deliver a high-quality final master suitable for online publication.
The overall style should feel professional, cinematic, warm, authentic, natural, thoughtful and elegant. The intention is to preserve the authenticity of the conversation while elevating it to a beautifully finished production.
I'm looking for an editor with experience producing high-quality interviews, documentaries or educational content who has an excellent eye for pacing, storytelling, colour grading, audio enhancement and professional finishing.
Further project details and edit notes will be provided after the successful freelancer has been selected.
Please quote a fixed price based on professionally refining and finishing an already structured edit, rather than creating a first edit from raw footage.
Please include examples of similar interview or documentary work and any examples that demonstrate your ability to take an existing edit to a high-end professional finish.
