Assistant editor/Post Production Supervisor

Gold City Productions LLC is in the final stages of finishing our first feature length film. Our initial editor has a previous engagement coming up in the next week and will be unable to get us to the finish line. That is where you come in…

This position requires an AVID system set-up and proficiency on AVID. Also the capability of handling UHD RED camera masters.

We will need you to pipeline a post workflow for finishing the movie. This includes experience in doing the following:

- Offline clean-up work & minor edits
- Online Assembly (4K camera masters) and rendering Video Archive Master (VAM)
- Turning over necessary elements to other post departments: Sound, Music, VFX, Color.
- Place titles (credits) and chyrons
- Layback final audio
- Minor VFX skills is a PLUS.
- Conform Color Texted Master (CTM) and create Final Master.
- Create various dubs per specific file specs (i.e. festivals, theaters, online platforms)
