I am leading an exciting project where I mix electronic music in natural and unusual environments around the world, capturing the essence of each location with a cinematic approach. We plan to expand our horizons to other types of places, with a team dedicated to capturing these new environments.
I am looking for a passionate video editor who understands the importance of syncing music with visuals, capable of creating simple yet impactful edits. Transitions in our videos are generally classic: a drone shot introduced at a drop, scene changes at a break, or a visual adjustment following the rhythm of a percussion. We avoid using complex effects, aiming for a clean and impactful aesthetic.
Here’s what I am looking for in a collaborator:
1. Appreciation for electronic music and minimalist editing – Someone who grasps how music can visually enhance an experience without the need for overdone effects.
2. Technical skill and understated creativity – Capable of using limited footage to tell a compelling story with smooth and simple transitions.
3.Long-term commitment – Looking for a durable collaboration as our project expands and our publication frequency increases.
While initial compensation will be modest, this project is in a phase of rapid growth. We are planning an increase in production and the acquisition of sponsors, which will significantly boost the funds allocated to video editors, who are vital to the success of our channel.
