YouTube Video Editor Needed – Raw Mobile Footage → Full Edited Upload-Ready Video.
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are looking for an experienced YouTube video editor who can take raw video footage shot on mobile phones and turn it into high-quality, engaging, upload-ready YouTube videos.
Our YouTube channel focuses on friends, entertainment, and food-based storytelling, with a strong emphasis on home cooks and unique recipes. The videos will feel casual, fun, and real — often featuring everyday cooking moments, social gatherings, and comic light-hearted interactions around food. The editing style should enhance the natural energy of the footage, making simple home-cooked recipes and friendly interactions feel engaging, entertaining, and watchable on YouTube. The goal is to create content that feels authentic yet visually compelling, blending storytelling with food culture and social moments.
This is not basic trimming work. We are looking for someone who understands storytelling, pacing, audience retention, and YouTube-style editing.
1. Full Video Editing (End-to-End)
Selecting best moments from raw footage
Structuring video into a clear story (hook → body → payoff)
Cutting unnecessary parts to maintain retention
Ensuring smooth flow and pacing
2. YouTube Optimization Editing
Creating strong hook in first 5–10 seconds
Adding zooms, cuts, transitions where needed (not overdone)
Adding background music (copyright-safe)
Sound balancing / noise reduction
3. Visual Enhancement
Basic color correction / grading
Subtitles or captions (if needed)
On-screen text overlays (modern YouTube style)
B-roll integration (if required / available)
4. Packaging Support (Bonus Skill – Preferred)
Thumbnail suggestions (or thumbnail design if possible)
Title suggestions based on content
Helping improve engagement strategy
Deliverables:
1 finished YouTube video per assignment (5–20 min range)
Exported in high quality (1080p or 4K if possible)
Ready-to-upload format (YouTube optimized)
Optional: Shorts cutdowns (if agreed)
Skills Required:
Proven YouTube video editing experience
Strong storytelling sense (VERY important)
Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve
Understanding of retention-based editing (not just cuts)
Ability to work with minimal instructions
Ideal Candidate:
Has worked with YouTube creators before
Understands viral pacing / engagement hooks
Can turn “normal footage” into something watchable and engaging
Can work independently without micro-management
Please Include in Your Proposal:
Portfolio / YouTube links of previous work
Example of “raw footage → final video” work (if available)
Your pricing per video
We are NOT looking for:
Basic trimming editors
Template-based editing only
People without YouTube experience
We are building a content-driven YouTube channel, so storytelling and retention matter more than flashy effects.
