Your Role
We are looking for a talented video editor with a passion for online content creation to join our team in helping content creators bring their vision and passion to life. You will work with some of the biggest creators in the space, helping shape their content into viral-worthy videos that will reach hundreds of thousands if not millions of viewers worldwide.
Responsibilities
As a CreatorDAO video editor, you will be responsible for the following:
Video editing: Working with CreatorDAO and directly with the creators themselves, you will primarily be responsible for editing content on a project-by-project basis, following the creative brief, adhering to each creator’s unique style, and working to optimize the viewer experience.
Developing video/brand identity: At CreatorDAO we value and encourage creative freedom from every member of the team. As an editor you will be expected to bring your own unique skill set and ideas to the table, helping to further develop the creator’s visual identity.
Adaptations: As we work with creators from many different platforms, you may also be asked to re-work previous projects to be distributed on other platforms to optimize exposure and growth.
Role requirements
3+ years end-to-end video editing using Adobe Premiere (or similar software).
Highly detail-oriented and independently resourceful
Adaptable in a high-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bonus
You live and breathe social media, especially YouTube, and are up to date on all the latest trends
You understand and can break down the intricacies of what makes a YouTube video unique as opposed to other media such as film and TV
You have a solid understanding of YouTube Analytics
You have the ability to adapt your work into a range of different cinematic styles.
You are a wiz at motion graphics and audio mixing using After Effects and Audition
You have a knack for telling a great story, even without saying a single word.
