Video editor ongoing - Final Cut X
Budget: $8 – $15 AUD
I am looking for a video editor with experience in Final Cut X to join my team on an ongoing (but intermittent) basis. The ideal candidate will be able to meet a turnaround time of 4-7 days for each edited video.
I am seeking a video editor who works in Final Cut X to help with compiling footage mostly. I take on editing various projects, including weddings.
I am looking for someone who can do selects of clips and create projects for me that I can finish. Basically doing the edit assist work. I can show you how I work so that we can get a good work flow going.
Sometimes there is quite a bit of footage to download so you will need good fast internet. Work will be ongoing - but intermittent. Job by job. Some will have dialogue, so a good comprehension of English is also required.
Understanding of how to synchronise multicam clips in final cut also needed and willingness to work with the proceses I use, so that I can edit final project.
Basic understanding of colour grading and sound also needed. Willing to train someone in the process so we can keep working together and you could take on more of the work load :)
Please let me know your rate for 10 hours. I would say that is the length of each project (sometimes less, sometimes more). Thanks, Kell
