We are looking for a talented and skilled Video Editor to convert recorded long video footage into short videos for social media channels.
You will be working with two top brands:
Whealth Armor: We are focused on creating a change and impact by educating and empowering individuals, families and businesses in all areas of finance to lead them to their financial wellbeing.

This is a part-time job, with the opportunity to become a full-time position.

What we need:
A minimum of 150 short videos created per month out of the original footage provided. Here is how it will work:
We record once per week or once a month in a batch.
We’ll send you the video footage.
You’ll find all of the best moments, quotes, etc.
You create 150 video clips per month based on our instructions.
What you will bring:
You should be able to find the best moments from our long form videos and turn them into short clips. As a Video Editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story.
Resources for stock audio and video will be provided for you to do the job. We will sign up for an audio/stock video account and share login.
Requirements:
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects as needed
Create rough and final cuts
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process.
Proven work experience as a Video Editor
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut) Ideally Adobe Premiere
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
Familiarity with special effects and compositing
Creative mind and storytelling skills
You must be able to provide raw files in addition to the edited files created.
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
