Video Editor for dance video clip ads that will be posted to Facebook
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I'm looking for a video editor that can put together one or more video clips to be posted on Facebook. The clips will be posted in specific Facebook groups and will work as ads/teasers for a dance course.
We have 16 recorded clips where two dancers move together. Each clip is ca 20 seconds. Your task will be to look through the clips and take some of the material and put it together into one or more video ads. You will also help us to find royalty-free music to add to the clip. You will also add some voice to parts of the ad.
The clips will be somewhere between 30 s to 3 minutes.
One of the recordings can be seen here: https://youtu.be/ORNusEQg0LY
Please have a look!
Here are some key skills:
- An eye for composition and aesthetics
- Make video and music match in a good way
- Color grading
- Finding suitable music
Here are the feelings we want to communicate with the video clip:
- Passionate
- Lyrical
- Playful
If everything works out well you will probably get new job opportunities from me.
A successful engagement would be when you
* add your own ideas and use your judgement well
* Always keep your promises, such as deadlines
* Ask when you don't understand
* Come with suggestions when you see improvements
* Are open with your strengths and weaknesses
This is how I want you to write your cover letter:
At the very top of your letter, add an emoji that you think represents the feeling of the attached video clip. I will not be reading your application if you write anything else on the first line of your cover letter. In the rest of the text, you may write some thoughts about the project and mention some challenges and solutions that you can think of. I'm not interested in reading anything about your past experiences but I'd really like to see what you have done before. Please add a video that you have been editing to your job application. The more similar to the project, the better. Add the link to that video directly after your emoji.
I'm looking forward to reading your application. If you have any other questions or comments about the project, put them in the cover letter.
