Video Editor for Legal Education Youtube Channel
Budget: ₹600 – ₹2,000 INR
Hiring a Freelance Video Editor for My Legal YouTube Channel
Project Type: Freelance / Ongoing (as per quality and consistency)
Niche: Legal Education / Public Awareness
Platform: Youtube
Language: Hindi or Hinglish (with English captions)
Video Duration: 5 to 6 minutes (varies) and Shorts
About the Project:
I am planning to start a Youtube channel that aims to spread legal awareness in a simplified and relatable format for the general public. I will be providing the raw video clips of me explaining specific legal topics. The task of the editor is to professionally edit these clips with relevant captions, background visuals (images/videos), transitions, and audio balancing while maintaining visual clarity and informative appeal.
Editor Responsibilities-
1. Edit Raw Clips:
Trim awkward pauses, stutters, filler words where required.
Clean cuts and smooth transitions.
2. Add Captions/Subtitles:
Accurate, grammatically correct captions.
Captions should appear at the bottom, aligned properly within video safe margins.
Font should be readable, not flashy. (Preference: White font with semi-transparent black background).
3. Add Relevant Backgrounds/Overlays:
Include photos, stock footage, icons, infographics, etc., as per the content being discussed
Example: If I speak about Section 138 NI Act, add a relevant court, cheque, or legal icon image
4. Keep in Mind Video Safe Margins:
Make sure nothing important (text, logos) is too close to the edge.
Use YouTube frame guidelines and safe zones.
5. Maintain Consistent Style:
Preferably develop a consistent video format with intro, outro (if applicable), logo, and style.
Professional but friendly vibe.
6. Add Music/SFX:
Soft background music that does not overpower the voice.
No copyright issues use royalty-free audio only.
Ideal Candidate Must Have:
Prior experience editing YouTube videos (legal, educational, or vlog format preferred).
A good sense of visual storytelling knows when and what visuals to add
Fluency in Hindi/Hinglish understanding to match captions and visuals with spoken content.
Punctual with deadlines (usually 2-3 videos/week or as agreed).
Openness to feedback.
Creative with thumbnails (can discuss if you can take on that too).
Can help with short video formatting for Instagram Reels/YT Shorts later
