Video Editing Automation with C# Script
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a C# developer with experience in scripting for Vegas. The primary goal is to automate some of my video editing tasks in Vegas, specifically trimming, cutting clips, and adding crossfade transitions.
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in C# and scripting for Vegas
- Experience in video editing
- Understanding of video editing tasks and transitions
Please provide examples of similar projects you have worked on.

- Project is creating customer videos for Skydiving company
- Source files are 10-12 .mp4 HVEC files
- Project generated from templates in Vegas 17 (not using 22 due to inconsistent results with .mp4 HVEC files and green flash issues on render)
- Ideally script will:
-- Open template and save in customer folder
-- Import .mp4 files and allow user to select time markers for use later
-- Place clips in project according to file number / type selected by user and time markers for clips
-- adjust audio levels for some clips, remove audio track for others (standardised)
-- adjust playback speed for some clips (standardised)
-- Cross fade clips where possible
I am aiming to have a script which completes the standardised tasks and orders the clips in the project, so that an editor can easily go through and adjust the clips before rendering.
