About the Project
We’re launching a new website and are seeking a skilled, highly flexible video creator and editor to produce a wide range of content—from promotional and instructional videos to clips for blogs and social media. If a task involves video, you’ll be our go-to expert.
This role isn’t limited to a fixed number of videos. The volume will depend entirely on the project’s evolving needs. You will be paid every 30 days for completed work, with consistent collaboration and expectations around communication, revisions, and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the team to understand brand goals, target audience, and creative direction.
Plan, shoot, source, and edit video content for use across the website, blog, and all social media platforms.
Produce various formats of video including tutorials, promotional reels, product walkthroughs, event clips, and behind-the-scenes content.
Deliver graphic support and edits related to video production (e.g., thumbnails, overlays, end cards).
Incorporate engaging captions and descriptions where needed.
Revise videos as often as necessary until approved (unlimited revisions required if needed).
Meet all project deadlines—missed deadlines are not acceptable.
Be responsive to team messages and available for flexible work hours, including occasional weekends, to attend meetings or deliver urgent tasks.
Join weekly virtual team gatherings and contribute ideas to ongoing video strategies.
Required Skills
Proven experience in video creation and editing (portfolio required).
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and motion graphics tools like After Effects.
Graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
Strong storytelling and editing skills with a sharp eye for visuals, pacing, and sound.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to write engaging captions and connect with a broad audience online.
Familiarity with various social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
Passion for event planning and working with vendors is a plus.
Collaboration & Expectations
Must be available to communicate regularly with the team via chat, email, and weekly meetings.
Must be flexible and responsive to shifting priorities or new content ideas.
Must maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and be proactive in solving challenges.
