VIDEO EDITOR WANTED

Job ID: 35083605

Budget: £250 – £750 GBP

VIDEO EDITOR WANTED - We are a UK-based video-on-demand film streaming service with 3,000 films available to watch on our website (https://www.filmdoo.com). Our catalogue includes a collection of short film “compilations”, each consisting of a series of short films, edited together back-to-back as a single video.

Here, for example, is a compilation we released that is made up of five short horror films: https://www.filmdoo.com/films/shorts-after-dark/

Other examples of short film compilations on our site can be found here: https://www.filmdoo.com/filmdoo-compilations/

Right now, we are working on a compilation of short [genre] films. We are currently looking for a video editor with encoding experience who can both edit these short films together into a single video, and create a trailer to promote the compilation.

In order to edit the short films together into a single compilation, the editor will be required to:

Adjust the short films to the same frame rate
Assemble the short films back-to-back in a single video
Make sure that the audio level is reasonably consistent across the different shorts
Create a title card to add to the beginning of the compilation
Add the “Exclusive FilmDoo Compilation” logo in between the short films

For the trailer, the editor will be given detailed guidance about which footage to use. Part of the trailer editing process will be adding music, meaning that familiarity with public domain music sites is preferred.

For compatibility reasons, the above would preferably all be carried out via Premiere Pro.

For this job, we are offering a flat fee of £250, though this offer is negotiable based on your experience and delivery time required for the project. As we are constantly signing and releasing new films, there is a high chance that this could lead to further work with us in the future.

To apply, please make sure you send over links to examples of film trailers and/or video editing you have previously done.
