The successful candidate will convert our raw trading or talking head footage into a fantastic YouTube or social media marketing asset. You will play a key role in producing our video content, ensuring it is engaging, informative, and aligned with our company values and brand message.
Responsibilities:
1. Edit raw video footage into compelling, professional, engaging video content for YouTube and other social media platforms.
2. Collaborate with the content and marketing team to align video content with current campaigns and initiatives.
3. Utilize graphics and special effects to ensure videos are captivating and on-brand.
4. Offer creative input to pre and post-production discussions, helping shape the narrative and pacing of our video content.
5. Prioritize and manage several video projects at once.
6. Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends to ensure the company's content is relevant and impactful.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a professional video editor, preferably with financial or trading content exposure.
2. Strong experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut).
3. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
4. Ability to understand and align with the company's brand identity and core values.
5. Creative mindset with a good eye for storytelling and pacing.
6. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Knowledge of financial markets or trading is a plus.
