Track Glasses, Create Matte Masks
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I’m working with live-action footage where a performer’s glasses move, tilt and scale. I need those glasses tracked frame-by-frame and converted into clean matte masks—nothing fancy, just solid basic shapes that hold up through all the complex motion.
You’re free to use Mocha Pro, Nuke, After Effects, or your preferred planar/3-D tracker, as long as the end result lines up perfectly with the glasses on every frame.
Deliverables
• An image sequence or alpha-embedded video containing the matte masks (one per lens and one for the frame)
• The project file or tracking data so I can adjust if needed
If you’ve handled tricky object tracking before, especially with eyewear or other reflective surfaces, this should be straightforward. Let me know your tool of choice and a realistic turnaround, and I’ll get the footage to you right away.
