Time-Lapse Video Editing for Personal Use
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a skilled video editor to create a series of videos from a set of time-lapse footage I have, in order to help me build a solar clock for my living room. The time-lapse footage I have captures the way the light moves across my living room wall each day throughout the year. There is a timestamp in the bottom left corner of the videos marking the time of day. What I want is a series of videos showing how the light looks at each hour of the day throughout the year. These videos will help me design and build a solar clock for the wall.
For example, one of the videos would be of the 3:00 p.m. hour, which is composed of all the 3:00 p.m. still frames, one still frame from each of the time-lapse videos starting from Jan 31st through Nov 26, 2024. The 3:00 p.m. video would show how the light looks at 3:00 p.m. throughout the year. My daughter put together an example video of 3:00 p.m. for the first half of the year that I will share.
Key Requirements:
- Create 12 videos using the daily time-lapse footage from Jan 31st through Nov 26, 2024 as described above.
- One video for each time of day, starting with 1:00 p.m, 1:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and so on at 30 min increments ending with the 6:30 p.m. video.
- Use only still frames that clearly have light projected on to the wall.
- Use still frames within +/- 10 minutes from the designated time, with a preference to use the best still frame closest to the designated time.
Notes:
The time-lapse videos are sporadically recorded throughout the year. I don't have everyday recorded.
Some of the time-lapse videos record multiple days.
Some days may have been cloudy, have no light or not enough light projected on the wall. Don't use still frames from those days.
Light may not be clearly projected onto the wall in any of the videos throughout the year at 1:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Please let me know if this is the case.
The timestamps in the video are for a 24 hour clock. For example, 1:00 p.m. is designated as 13:00 in the timestamps.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
- Experience with time-lapse videos.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to access Google Drive. I will share the folder of time-lapse videos.
