Telugu Subtitle Creation (SRT)

I receive a steady flow of video content from Prime Focus Technologies that now needs high-quality Telugu subtitles in SRT. The assignments vary—some days it’s a feature film, on others it may be an episodic TV show or a short-form documentary—so flexibility with length and genre is important. Whatever the title, what matters most is an accurate, idiomatic translation, perfectly timed cues, and a clean SRT file ready for direct ingest into their platform.
You will work from the provided English script (or source audio when a script isn’t available), transcreate lines so they read naturally in Telugu, then spot and sync them to match speech and scene changes. I review each file against Prime Focus’ in-house QC checklist, so attention to punctuation, reading speed, and line breaks is critical.
Deliverables for every asset:
• One fully-synced .srt file using UTF-8 encoding
• Maximum two lines per subtitle, 42 characters per line
• Frame-accurate in-time and out-time stamps (00:00:00,000 format)
• No hard-returns, overlapping timecodes, or formatting tags unless specified
I’m happy to supply the style guide, a template SRT, and reference videos via secure transfer once we start. If you are comfortable using tools such as Subtitle Edit, Aegisub, or similar and can commit to quick turnarounds without compromising quality, this should be a smooth collaboration.
