Social Media Video Content Manager
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
We’re entering a major growth phase at Memory Card Ltd, and a memorable, scroll-stopping social presence is a key part of that journey.
We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes short-form content to take ownership of our Instagram and LinkedIn channels, helping us build standout brand awareness that ultimately drives engagement, word of mouth and sales.
About Memory Card Ltd
We’re not a traditional greeting card company. We help people stop forgetting birthdays, anniversaries and important moments through our automated greeting card service. Customers schedule once, and we handle the remembering, choosing and sending for them. Think thoughtful gifting without the mental load.
What we’re looking for
We want someone who can turn everyday life moments, forgetfulness, relationships and gifting into funny, relatable, highly shareable short-form videos that make people think: “That’s literally me.”
The content should feel natural, entertaining and social-first, while subtly educating people about how our service solves a real problem.
Think content themes like:
• Funny and relatable moments around forgotten birthdays, last-minute panic gifting and relationship fails
• Skits, trends and POV-style videos built around the chaos of remembering important dates
• Playful content showing how our automated card service saves people from awkward situations
• Behind-the-scenes peeks at how automated greeting cards work
• Couple, friendship, parenting and workplace humour tied to gifting moments
• Occasional polished product-focused posts showcasing cards, features and how the service works
• Seasonal moments and gifting occasions (birthdays, anniversaries, Mother’s Day, Christmas, Valentine’s, etc.)
What the partnership looks like
• A rolling monthly content calendar centred around relatable humour, gifting moments, trends and product storytelling
• 3–5 polished short-form videos per week (Instagram Reels and LinkedIn native video), tailored to each platform
• Creative brainstorming of hooks, skits, trending formats and funny concepts relevant to our audience
• Captions, hashtags and calls-to-action written in a warm, playful, cheeky brand voice
• Publishing and light community management via Meta Business Suite or your preferred scheduler
• Monthly reporting on content performance, insights and recommendations so we can double down on what works
• A balance of funny, relatable awareness content with occasional product and feature posts
You’ll be a great fit if you:
• Naturally think in viral hooks and relatable social moments
• Are confident creating and editing vertical video in tools like CapCut, Premiere Rush or Canva
• Understand platform trends without making content feel forced or generic
• Can blend humour, storytelling and subtle product education
• Know how to use analytics to improve performance over time
We already have brand assets ready to go including logos, product imagery and brand guidelines. There’s also creative freedom to shoot or source additional footage when it helps tell the story better.
If creating funny, relatable content that people actually want to watch sounds like your thing, we’d love to talk about getting the first month live.
