Ongoing Video Editor for Real Estate Startup Content & Ads (Reels, Facebook)

Job ID: 39491921

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

Firstly - The attached video is NOT an example of what we want, it's the test video we need edited to check your skills and to see is you can work your magic on it and give us a professional result.

We're Sellfi — a modern Australian real estate startup shaking up how people sell homes (think no agents, no commissions, big savings). As a note: In Australia, we dislike real estate agents and how much they make for such little work, and at Sellfi, we like to make fun of them, so keep this in mind.

We're looking for a creative, fast, and reliable video editor to join us long-term. We’ll provide raw footage, short scripts, or rough video/audio clips — you’ll turn them into polished, scroll-stopping social content and ad creatives.

We need someone who can:

Cut and edit short-form videos (5–60 seconds)

Add captions, motion text, logos, sound effects, and music

Create Reel/TikTok/Facebook-style edits with a modern feel

Work in vertical format (9:16) primarily

Deliver fast turnarounds (2–4 days max)

Be proactive with suggestions for pacing, text, or hook improvements

Bonus if you:

Have a great sense of humour and understand Australian dry humour

Can animate explainer-style graphics

Are familiar with storytelling and marketing-style video pacing

What This Will Turn Into
This is not a one-off job. We plan to:

Release a number of videos per month across social + ad platforms

Build a library of branded, evergreen videos, with theme characters.

Run multiple paid ad tests using variations of each edit

Test Task First
We’ll start with 1 short video edit (we’ll provide a rough Canva video for you to work your magic on). If it works well, we can start to talk about ongoing work.

Please Include in Your Application:
3–5 sample edits (Reels/TikToks/ads you’ve worked on)

Your preferred tools (e.g. Premiere, CapCut, After Effects, Final Cut)

Your rate guide (per video or per batch)

The word “SELLFI” so I know you read this.
