Realistic 3D Overlay Video Edit
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I have a series of outdoor shots and the native Revit and SketchUp files for the project featured in them. What I need is a polished edit that seamlessly blends the 3D model into the live-action footage, matches every camera move, and sells the illusion as if the structure were already built on site.
Key points to keep in mind while working:
• Accurate motion tracking is essential so the model locks perfectly to the environment.
• Use subtle fade-in/fade-out transitions between takes; no hard cuts or slide effects.
• Integrate clean 3D titles—street names, reference markers, or call-outs—so they appear anchored in the scene rather than floating above it.
• A touch of 3D animation for small elements (for instance, cars or people passing through) is welcome if it improves realism, but the composite should remain the star.
• Colour match the CG to the graded footage, paying special attention to outdoor lighting shifts throughout the day.
Deliverables I’m expecting:
1. Final 4K video file ready for presentation.
2. Project file(s) with organised layers so future edits are straightforward.
3. An exported camera-tracking or scene file I can reuse if needed.
If you’re confident in camera-matching, compositing, and pulling off photoreal results, I’d love to see how you can bring this vision to life.
