3D Quantum Physics Explainer Video
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
.Project Overview:
I’m building a cinematic, mystery-driven science channel that explains physics and space in a visually compelling but fully faceless style. I need a video editor who can turn 8–12 minute scripts into high-retention YouTube videos using stock footage, animated elements, simple 2D/3D visual metaphors, and a polished documentary tone.
My long-term goal is to build a scalable, systemised production pipeline, so the style you help establish here will become the ongoing visual style of the channel.
The First Video:
A 10-minute introduction to quantum physics aimed at complete beginners. The tone should feel welcoming, curious, cinematic, and slightly mysterious — while still being accurate.
Key topics:
wave–particle duality
superposition
entanglement
the measurement problem
why quantum mechanics defies intuition
What I Need From You:
• Create a visual style guide based on my USP (cinematic + mysterious + educational)
• Build a light storyboard / animatic to confirm pacing & structure (does NOT need full 3D scenes)
• Full video edit combining:
– carefully chosen stock footage (space, labs, abstract visuals)
– simple but elegant motion graphics
– occasional 3D elements if helpful (but not full character animation)
– on-screen labels and callouts to clarify key concepts
• Add voice-over, sound design, and atmospheric music that fits the mysterious-but-welcoming tone
• Deliver the final export in 1080p or 4K, YouTube-ready
Style References:
Visual tone should feel like:
Aperture
Astrum
RealLifeLore
Kurzgesagt (but less cartoony)
Workflow:
• I provide the script (already polished and structured).
• You produce a storyboard/animatic for approval.
• You complete the full edit.
• I give feedback at each milestone to keep things smooth.
Ideal Candidate:
If you enjoy turning complex science concepts into visuals that feel cinematic, intuitive, and watchable for a general audience — we’ll work well together.
Let’s bring quantum mechanics to life in a way that’s irresistible to viewers.
