Podcast Production Expert for Business Finance Show
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
Olive Insights is a podcast dedicated to helping business owners and entrepreneurs navigate the complexities of business finances. It offers practical advice, actionable tips, and business examples to empower listeners in managing and growing their businesses.
As we prepare to record and launch season two, which will feature interviews with finance professionals and experts, we are seeking to outsource podcast production. This will enhance the podcast's professionalism and allow the business owner to focus on other priorities. The podcast is hosted by the business owner.
Role objective: To produce, edit, and publish weekly episodes and grow the listener base for Olive Insights. The role can be performed remotely and offers flexible hours, provided deadlines are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform basic editing of audio and video recordings, primarily adding captions, cutting start and finish times and adding intros and outros.
2. Upload episodes to all major podcast platforms (e.g., Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts) as well as YouTube.
3. Write up the show notes, including episode summaries, key takeaways, and relevant links to resources or guest information (which will be provided by the podcast host and guests).
4. Add thumbnail image to each episode (to be provided).
5. Maintain a publishing schedule and get sign off from the podcast host before publishing.
Skills required:
-Proficiency in audio and video editing software.
-Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms as well as YouTube.
-Strong writing skills for creating engaging show notes and descriptions.
-Excellent organisational skills.
-Experience with SEO optimisation for podcast platforms and YouTube is a plus.
-Passion for storytelling and an understanding of business-focused content is highly desirable.
