Podcast Editor for Casual Radio Show
Budget: $25 – $50 CAD
We are looking for a podcast editor to edit our monthly podcast, How to Health, and prepare video clips for social media posts. We are a fun co-host duo based in Vancouver using science to help people live a healthier life. We are now in our third season, and we have been editing the podcasts ourselves but we believe our podcast can be improved with professional editing.
This is a long-term and ongoing podcast in which we aim for ten episodes per season. Our podcasts run 45-60 minutes long and we are currently using Riverside.FM to record our shows.
We are looking for someone who:
● has experience in podcast/video editing
● create video social media teasers
● is proficient in English
● can turn around episodes within two weeks
● is reliable with deadlines
● has attention to detail
● can incorporate our intro/outro and transitions and mid-episode music breaks
● will cut out most of our ums and sighs
● will ensure the final edited episode information flows well
● can produce high audio quality (e.g., consistent, clear volume)
We would also like to receive feedback on our podcast from our editor to assist with continual improvement. While we are based in Vancouver, we are happy to work with someone remotely.
