I am looking for a skilled podcast editor to join my team and help with the editing of each episode. The ideal candidate should have experience in editing podcasts and be able to work with a quick turnaround time of 24-48 hours per episode.

Responsibilities:

1. Merge audio files with corresponding video footage for seamless integration.
2. Edit and cut relevant content to ensure the podcast maintains a cohesive flow and engaging narrative.
3. Add appropriate music and sound effects to enhance the overall audiovisual experience.
4. Create short clips and highlights tailored for various social media platforms to increase engagement and reach.
5. Collaborate with the content team to ensure consistency in branding and messaging.
6. Stay updated with industry trends and software advancements to continuously improve editing techniques.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a video editor, preferably in podcast or digital media.
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Strong understanding of audio mixing, syncing, and editing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and their video specifications.
